Sheep have been my favourite animal since I was a child. My parents said I could get sheep when I was done school and home for good to look after them. The weekend after graduating from college early May 2012 I bought my first 5 sheep and I was so happy I almost cried! Fast forward to 2020 and I have 16 breeding ewes, 1 ram and lots of lambs. I love my sheep and they give me so much joy. At the end of a hards days work I love to go sit with them in the pasture. Many of them are very friendly and like to come over to me for a scratch and a hug. All the ewes have names and yes I can easily tell them all apart.
I have lamb available by the cut, check with me for availability . If you'd like a whole lamb its $9/lb. hanging weight - cut to your liking.
Llamas
Meet Chico and Penny! I've had llamas in the past and I love them, they are really interesting animals. After not having a llama for over a year I found Penny for sale in Digby and she was bred to an alpaca. On March 25 2019 she gave birth to Chico. They are my pets and keep the ram company on the pasture all summer till breeding season. I can't have Chico with my sheep because he's a crazy male who gets aggressive with the sheep. People just like looking at the llamas as they drive by, they've become an attraction. The llamas bring joy and that's why I have them.
